Wavertree is the beating heart of Liverpool’s student community. With a vibrant social scene and a huge number of drinking hotspots and eateries to choose from, it also has excellent transport links to all universities and is particularly convenient for University of Liverpool students based at the main campus.
For those sunny spring days, Wavertree is within easy walking distance of several parks for some al fresco study time. Smithdown Road runs right through Wavertree and provides all of the amenities you may need from a practical perspective: a choice of supermarkets, hairdressers, health centres, pharmacies and more.
Wavertree itself is home to the famous Brookhouse pub and some incredible burger joints. The lovely Greenbank Park can be found at the edge of Wavertree, whilst Sefton Park is approximately fifteen minutes’ walk away.
The city centre is a short bus ride away for retail therapy or the cinema. Alternatively, Liverpool Shopping Park is a 20-minute walk away where you’ll find a range of high street shops and affordable eateries.
