Information for parents/guardians: here’s what you need to know if your son/daughter is a current or future tenant with Luxury Student Homes Liverpool.
Most of our tenants come to us for their second year of university onwards, having lived in halls in their first year. To ease the adjustment, we try to replicate the simplicity of halls but improve the experience with added elements of convenience and luxury. With Luxury Student Homes, your son/daughter will pay an all inclusive price for a thoughtfully put together living experience. Here’s what’s included:
Some of this may sound basic, but we know from experience that there are too many student landlords who cut corners and sacrifice practicality, modernity and comfort in their properties, treating student tenants as second-class citizens. By contrast, our offering is intended to promote a healthy and happy environment whilst your son/daughter studies, letting them work and play as they need to to make the most of their higher education opportunity.
No squabbling over whose turn it is to top up the electricity meter or clean the bathroom. No need to try and airdry clothes in the deepest winter. Simple, straightforward, sorted.
Armed with expertise and local knowledge, please remember that our friendly and professional team are always on hand for any questions or concerns that you have, whether it’s about our services or you’re struggling to identify the best area of Liverpool for your son/daughter’s needs.
We practice and maintain the highest standards in safety, reliability and comfort with no compromises. All of our homes are fully gas, electric and local authority certified. Burglar alarms, fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted on each house. We build and fit out all of our properties to Liverpool Student Homes’ Gold Standard criteria. All of our properties which have been assessed by Liverpool Student Homes have been awarded this Gold Standard accreditation, classifying them as truly exceptional properties. We are also registered with the council’s CLASS landlord scheme and have all relevant HMO licences where applicable.
These accreditations mean that our properties have been inspected and fully comply with all relevant student and local authority requirements which gives you piece of mind whilst your son or daughter lives in one of our homes.
Due to the student status of our tenants, it’s standard practice to request that every tenant has a guarantor. A guarantor is the person who can pay the rent if for any reason the tenant is unable to. In most cases, this is a parent or guardian.
Your student will nominate you as their guarantor. You must be both willing and able to accept responsibility for the financial commitment of their rent in the event that they are unable to pay. The process of registering as their guarantor is a simple one: we’ll send you a brief legal document to complete and sign which captures some basic information. If you have been nominated as a guarantor and have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: we’ll be happy to help.
