Brooklyn Mixer
On a Monday night, head down to Brooklyn Mixer in Concert Square for their event ‘Get Down’. The mix of classic hip hop, party RnB and pop bangers make this a favourite night among Liverpool students. Entry is from £1 and drink offers include 3 bottles of beer for £1 and 3 Jagerbombs for £6.

Every Wednesday night, Level on Fleet St hosts Liverpool’s most popular student event ‘Quids in’. With 3 different floors to explore, Level is Liverpool’s biggest and most state-of-the-art club. Each level showcases a different style of music from commercial house to RnB & Hip Hop to cheesy pop tunes. As the name suggests, entry is just £1.00 and drinks include £3.50 doubles and 3x bottles of beer for £6.00.

The Brookhouse Pub
If you live in Wavertree or Allerton and don’t want to head all the way into town on a Thursday night then The Brookhouse is a great option. This is the main student pub in Wavertree, it has a great menu of pub food and lots of TVs showing sports, meaning The Brookhouse pub is popular every day and night of the week. But with £1.70 student drink offers (single vodka & mixer, pint of Carlsberg or Strongbow or bottle of WKD Blue) Thursday nights are especially bouncing. There’s also a pub quiz on Sundays.

With its great location on Smithdown Rd, The Brookhouse is a short walk to many of our flats and houses in Wavertree.

Friday nights are all about Medication at Electrik Warehouse. Each Friday, the club is packed with students who go for a crazy night of electronic music. There are five rooms with DJ’s playing House & Tech House / RnB & Hip Hop / Chart & Pop / Indie & Alternative / UK Garage & Drum n Bass.

Great venues for a student night in Liverpool, any night of the week.

With its late-night hours and happy hour deals, any night in Popworld is one of the best student nights in Liverpool. It’s one of the most fun clubs in the city with its colourful dance floor, wacky pop art, non-stop pop music and constant fun games and giveaways.
The bar serves quirky cocktails, themed drinks, and plenty of affordable beers while the DJ serves up everything from cheesy classics to proper pop anthems and you can choose to dance the night away or splash out and watch the fun from a VIP booth.
Depending on the night, offers include 2-for-1 cocktails, doubles from £4.50 and 2 bombs for £5.

Roxy Ballroom
If you’re looking for a night out that offers something a little different then Roxy Ballroom is a great option, and it’s open every day of the week.
Roxy Ballroom is Liverpool’s only bar that features ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, mini golf and bowling all under one roof and offers craft beers, signature cocktails and pizza. If you and your student mates enjoy a little healthy competition over a beer or two, then this is the perfect spot to have a laugh while proving who the best beer pong player is.
For the cheapest prices, go on an off-peak day – Sunday to Wednesday when American Pool is £14 per hour and shuffleboard is £18 per hour.

Concert Square
Whether you’re in the mood to drink, dine, dance or watch live sports, there’s the perfect venue in concert square. The huge outside area is perfect for summer evenings, with seating for literally hundreds, is flanked by cool bars Soho and Modo where you can order cocktails and beers, both play a great mix of tunes too.
Einstein Bier Haus has two floors and offers a mix of great beers, German-themed food, live music and screens showing all the sports.

The Baltic Triangle
Just outside the city, a stone’s throw from Liverpool One and the Albert Dock is the Baltic Triangle. Historically an industrial area that housed numerous warehouses and factories, The Baltic Triangle is now a hub for bars, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, pop-ups, music venues and dance clubs that host some of the best student nights in Liverpool. It’s quickly become the cultural hub of the city and one of our favourite places to visit when we’re looking for a reason to celebrate.
Here you’ll find:

  • Camp and Furnace hosts club nights, live music events, food festivals, and of course, the famous Bongos Bingo, a huge party that’s part a rave party and part bingo night. You’ll be dancing on the tables to DJ sets, and possibly walking home with a top prize, or even a Henry Hoover…
  • 24 Kitchen Street. In this independent music and arts space, you’ll find popular club nights as well as touring bands and DJs. It features bare brick walls and a huge hanging disco ball that give it a cool shabby chic look.
  • The District plays host to gigs, club nights, festivals, screenings and talks. With its outdoor area, YARD, it’s a great summer spot, too.

The Cavern Club
This is one of the most famous clubs in Liverpool, and for good reason. It’s where The Beatles got their start—and if you’re lucky (or talented), you might get your own chance to perform here! They have live music every night from 8 pm to 2 am, and it’s always free entry for students.
