As the summer holidays is finally here, many students have finished their exams for the year and go back home or travel untill the next academic year begins, however if you are one of those in a student home and are staying in Liverpool with the entire summer to yourself, you may find yourself looking for things to do. And so here are a collection of some of the top events happening in Liverpool this July 2017!
Brazilica is a unique festival which takes place in Liverpool celebrating the Brazilian arts culture every year. Over 800 performers take part in the night time carnival parade through the city centre with glittering costumes, floats and the irresistible sounds of samba.
The Brazilica festival takes place on the 15th of July
Punk rock pizza:
Hosted at Mguire’s bar in Liverpool City Centre, this is a specialist pizza bar with a back room ideal for exciting gigs and events such as punk rock pizza nights:
Enjoy delicious freshly made pizza as well as the following bands:
- In Evil Hour
- Flatback Four
This event takes place on Friday 14th July 2017, 7:00pm til 11:15pm (last entry 10:30pm)
Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF):
Hosted in Sefton park, this free anual festival is jam packed with acts over 4 days featuring over 350 artists across several stages!

Regularly hosted every Thursday night in Camp & Furnace, this is one of the most outrageous games of Bingo known to man! expext lots of impromptu raves, dance offs drinks and prizes so bad they’re good. Get your tickets to the next bongos bingo here: be warned, they sell out fast!
