With so many assignments, coursework and exams coming your way through the university year, staying up to date with the seemingly never ending deadlines can seem impossible at times. So here are some of our top tips for time management to help you stay on course to meet your deadlines.
With multiple tasks you are assigned simultaneously, it can be difficult to know which one you should tackle first. Different people prioritise their work differently, so try to find out which works best or you, you could; work towards whatever deadline is the soonest, focus on the largest task or some people enjoy completing the smaller tasks first and foremost.
Writing down a list of tasks or organising your deadlines in a diary can be a fantastic way of not only having the visual reminder each day, but it can also provide that little bit of extra encouragement to get work done when needed. When you have a diary of tasks, it easily enables you to plan what you wish to accomplish on each day, weather it be tackling an assignment or getting the washing done.

When it comes down to studying or working on a paper, many people struggle with procrastination and getting distracted by people, devices, music, TV, etc. We think the best way to knuckle down and get tasks done is to eliminate as many distractions as you can. Try any of the following:
